Managed to successfully convert the yellow halogen DRL to bright White LED
This is side light without DRL:
This is with DRL turned on much brighter:
Followed exactly the instructions and bought the dust cover from stockist. The cutting part is really easy. At first I was still hesitating but think worst case go convert to the led hid if I screwed up. End up cut and replace light bulb took at most 15 mins for both side. Just need a carpet cutter aka heavy duty thick blade pen knife and a flat tip screw driver.
Can't do it in Carpark. Better to have a dining table or work table and do it carefully after removing the entire headlight assembly. Anyone need help can pm me. I be most glad to help as long as my schedule permits.
Dust cover cost almost $80 for 4
LED Bulb cost about $40 - $50 each and you need 5 of them, one additional in case receive a bad one from shipment or standby if burnt out after some time. Depending on how bright you want. I chose the medium bright as I do not want to overheat the headlamp assembly.
