VAGCOM mods can be found on various forums.
I got the resource from Audizine, and VWAudiforum,
Thought it might make things easy if we have a list here as well
Credits to these overseas forums for sharing these resources online.
What is VAGCOM?
Audi/VW cars have a computer inside which takes care of the various settings. To change the settings, we need 2 items
1. VAGCOM software installed on a laptop
2. VAGCOM cable
Software and original cables can be found from Ross-Tech. Software is free, cables need to be purchased from them.
Where is the OBD port located?
Most of the time, look under the steering wheel for a purple connector of sort.
To have the laptop and the vehicle to communicate, after plugging in, start the car in accessory mode by pushing the start button without depressing the brake.
