Seat adjustment buttons can be bought online cheaply, just putting it out here so anybody who might want to attempt DIY can gain some confidence doing it themselves.
The following pics show how the parts looks like inside.
Basically just pluck them out and replace with new ones.
End product should look something like this

I bought mine frm Aliexpress here. The chrom part is not real chrom but rather is chrom painted on plastics.
Cant complain much since its only US$10+
Some eBay sellers like Audi-spezi-24 do sell original buttons.
But at SDG$90? I will settle for replicas from china.
